Role Description

We are seeking a Planning Engineer to join our team. This is a position based in Barcelona, Spain.

The Planning Engineer will be responsible for developing and maintaining project schedules, reporting and ensuring effective project control measures are in place. Daily tasks include visiting the site, analysing progress and project data, coordinating with various project teams, and ensuring timely communication of project status updates.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop, update, and maintain project schedules using industry-standard tools (P6 or MSP).
- Perform short-term planning and monitor progress.
- Analyse schedule data and provide regular progress and performance reports.




- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure planning alignment.
- Support project control processes, including risk analysis and scenario planning.
- Promote the use of digital tools and data-driven insights for project optimisation.

Qualifications

- Proven experience in Planning & Scheduling.
- Basic knowledge of the Last Planner System.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, using MS Excel.
- Excellent communication skills in English.
- Ability to work effectively in cross-functional and multicultural teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field (preferred).
- Willing to learn the following tools and platforms: Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, Aphex Planner, Power BI.
