Innovtex is a cross-border apparel manufacturing company scaling production across Spain, China, Vietnam, Portugal, and Turkey for brands in the US, UK, EU, and Mexico. We're hiring a Product Development Lead based in Barcelona to own our China and Vietnam development pipeline end-to-end.
What you'll do:
- Lead product development from concept to production handoff across , working directly with our nominated factories in China and Vietnam
- Build production-ready tech packs and coordinate daily with China/Vietnam factory and supply chain teams on end-to-end development proto and fit rounds, timeline tracking, issue resolution, through to production handoff, bulk production follow-up, and final delivery
- Develop styles against target FOB costs and client margins, balancing fabric, construction, and MOQs against factory capability
- Own fit and quality review against client specs and our compliance stack (OEKO-TEX, GOTS, GRS)
- Set PD priorities and workflows across categories as the team scales
Note: shipping/logistics execution (booking, documentation, customs) sits with the Operations team this role tracks production-to-delivery status, not logistics execution.
What you bring:
- 5+ years in apparel product development, with direct experience managing factory relationships in China and/or Vietnam
- Fluent in tech pack construction, costing, and factory communication
- Comfortable owning a development calendar across multiple categories and countries simultaneously
- Based in or willing to relocate to Barcelona this is an on-site role, not remote/hybrid
- English fluency required; Mandarin a plus
