At King, we build products and services that help millions of players enjoy our games every day. The Player Support Innovation and Development team develops the technology behind modern player support experiences, helping players quickly find answers, resolve issues, and get back to playing.

As a Software Engineer, you'll build products, platforms, and services used across multiple King games, working closely with engineers, Product Owners, designers, and game teams. Designing for reuse, scalability, reliability, and long-term maintainability is at the heart of what we do.

You'll work across a variety of technologies, with much of our engineering focused on backend services, distributed systems, event-driven architectures, and reliable platforms that integrate seamlessly across King's ecosystem.
No two projects are exactly the same. Depending on the challenge, you might be designing backend services, improving web applications, building developer tooling, integrating AI capabilities, or helping shape the architecture of a shared platform.





We're looking for a versatile engineer with broad software engineering knowledge, strong backend foundations, and the curiosity to learn and work across different technologies when needed.

Your role within the Kingdom
- Design, build, and maintain software used across multiple King games and services.
- Develop scalable backend services, APIs, event-driven systems, and reusable platform components.
- Design integrations and data flows across Player Support, game, and internal platform systems.
- Own features from design and implementation through testing, deployment, monitoring, and production support.
- Improve the scalability, resilience, observability, and maintainability of existing systems.
- Collaborate with Product Owners, designers, engineers, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions.
- Contribute to architecture, technical discussions, code reviews, and engineering standards.
