This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Product Manager, APIs based in Spain.

This is a fully remote senior individual contributor role for a technically strong product leader who thrives at the intersection of product, engineering, and customer experience. You will own an API-focused product area end to end, from strategy and architecture to adoption and long-term impact. Working closely with engineering leads and staff engineers, you will contribute directly to technical direction and use hands-on prototyping to solve complex problems. The role offers substantial autonomy and the opportunity to influence products that support integral employment and payroll operations. You will work in a highly distributed, asynchronous environment where thoughtful documentation, decisive action, and strong collaboration are essential. Accountabilities




- Own the product area end to end, including product strategy, roadmap, delivery, adoption, hypercare, and ongoing customer and internal-team experience.
- Partner as a peer with Engineering Leads and Staff Engineers on architecture, technical direction, design quality, and implementation decisions.
- Form independent technical opinions and actively contribute to design reviews, using prototypes and hands-on experimentation to validate assumptions and resolve open questions.
- Design and maintain high-quality API products, including contracts, versioning, backward compatibility, integration patterns, and developer experience.
- Work directly with operational specialists and subject-matter experts to understand real workflows, identify root causes, and prioritize the problems that create the greatest impact.
