Integrate security controls into networking solutions, ensuring safe interactions. Analyze performance metrics to pinpoint bottlenecks in application networking.

Conduct load testing to assess scalability of networking features and optimize code to enhance response times and resource efficiency. Implement performance monitoring tools while collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet their application networking needs.Identify and tackle application networking issues to enhance performance. Conduct root cause analysis for network-related incidents and document the troubleshooting processes for future reference.





Develop tools aimed at tracing and fixing errors associated with application networking.Collaborate with Engineering teams across Elastic to discuss and fulfill their Application Networking requirements.What You BringHands-on experience developing software in Golang with an emphasis on networking components that can scale.Experience working with Kubernetes (Cilium, external-dns, Envoy Gateway & Crossplane) are also greatKnowledge with at least one major cloud provider (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and their networking ecosystemProficient in using AI tools to enhance code functionality and maintainabilityFacilitated knowledge-sharing initiatives that promoted best practices in application networking across teamsCare about the quality of work shipped — testing, observability, and operabilityCuriosity about distributed systems and how services communicate at scaleA collaborative approach: welcoming feedback, sharing context, learning from teammatesCompensation for this role is in the form of base salary.
