Experteer Overview
In this role you establish and lead the site’s quality excellence at the Leioa manufacturing site, safeguarding product quality, food safety, and regulatory compliance. You will shape the quality vision, drive continuous improvement, and embed a strong quality culture cross-functionally. As the site’s primary quality contact, you partner with teams, customers, suppliers, and regulators to support sustainable growth and protect consumer trust. This is a mission-driven opportunity to scale quality across operations and change projects.

Compensaciones / Incentivos
• Lead and develop the site Quality team and foster a quality-first culture
• Own and continuously improve the site QMS to meet Unilever standards and food safety expectations
• Implement and govern HACCP and food safety programs to proactively manage risk
• Drive root-cause analysis, CAPA, and continuous improvement initiatives
• Lead internal and external audits and maintain certification (e.g., FSSC 22000)
• Partner with cross-functional teams to embed quality into manufacturing, innovation, and site change projects




• Monitor KPIs and drive actions to improve operational excellence
• Manage quality incidents, complaints, and non-conformances with timely resolutions
• Act as the main quality contact for customers, suppliers, regulators, and external stakeholders
• Ensure effective training, documentation, and capability building across the site

Responsabilidades
• University degree (min. bachelor’s) in Food Sience, Food Technology, Chemistry, or related scientific field
• Minimum 5 years of Quality Assurance experience in a food manufacturing environment
• Strong expertise in HACCP, Food Safety, and QMS (FSSC 22000, BRC, IFS)
• Proven leadership experience with high-performing teams
• Fluent Spanish and advanced English (C1 or equivalent)
