Trigyn has a contractual opportunity for a Senior SAP Basis Migration Specialist (S/4HANA Cloud Expertise). This resource will be working Remotely.

Please note that the consultant is required to work according to New York (NY) hours, with an overlap until 12:00 noon.

Job Description :

This position reinforces the ERP Project's capacity in technical planning, pre/post-migration configuration, and integration support during the migration from SAP ECC on-premise to SAP S/4HANA Private Cloud. While base infrastructure upgrades and core platform installations are handled directly by the SAP Private Cloud team, this consultant will support and deliver customer-side migration tasks, application setups, and hybrid cloud integrations with the existing Umoja infrastructure.

Reporting to Umoja ERPSD Basis staff, the specialist will support the following major work areas:

- Coordinate S/4HANA conversion preparation, technical execution, and validation phases alongside the ERPSD techno-functional teams as well as SAP private cloud team.

- Architect and configure technical integration layers connecting SAP S/4HANA Private Cloud with SAP BTP sub-accounts, and on-premise systems.

- Deploy, configure, and maintain foundational management, monitoring, optimization, and security tools (cALM, Fiori, GRC, SLT, Azure SSO).

- Provide Tier 3 advanced technical support to troubleshoot complex application-level Basis and configuration incidents.

Specific task areas:

• SAP S/4HANA Migration and System Setup Configuration Support:

o Lead the technical execution of the S/4HANA system conversion lifecycle (Brownfield), and provide technical support during application-level pre-requisites and post-conversion phases.

o Support the execution of migration tools, drive system analysis via SAP Readiness Check, support Simplification Item remediation, and assist techno-functional teams with Customer Vendor Integration (CVI) and validation.

o Setup and configure on-premise staging systems (ECC, Fiori, GRC, SRM, TM etc.) utilizing production database copies to validate conversion paths prior to cloud deployment.

o Plan and execute technical dress rehearsal exercises (Mock Runs) to establish runtime baselines and validate end-to-end migration runbooks.

o Analyze, fine-tune, and optimize the technical migration strategy (including uptime/downtime parameters)



to minimize application downtime during the production cutover.

o Support project testing cycles, perform deep-dive performance optimization, and provide swift resolution for all migration-related defects, bugs, and transport issues.

o Coordinate directly with the SAP Private Cloud team to align system copies, transport management system (TMS) definitions, and landscape synchronizations.

o Execute database-level performance engineering within the target SAP HANA environment, adjusting parameters and tuning memory management.

• Setup embedded Fiori, GRC Add-ons, and SCM Optimizer Configuration:

o Complete Basis setup of Embedded SAP Fiori and support Fiori/development teams during the migration of Fiori artifacts from on-premise system to S4HANA environment.

o Install, configure, and optimize SAP GRC Add-ons inside the S/4HANA environment, ensuring secure backend connectivity.

o Setup and configure the SAP Supply Chain Management (SCM) Optimizer application layer and background processing jobs.

• SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) Setup and Integration:

o Provision and administer SAP BTP sub-accounts, directories, entitlements, and user assignments for Work Zone and Integration Suite.

o Execute end-to-end technical integration of SAP Build Work Zone and SAP Integration Suite with the backend S/4HANA instance.

o Install, configure, and maintain SAP Cloud Connector in High Availability (HA) to secure tunnels between S4 private cloud and BTP solutions.

• Data Migration, SLT Scenarios, and Cloud Job Scheduling:

o Architect, migrate, and configure SAP Landscape Transformation (SLT) Replication Server scenarios for real-time data streaming.

o Manage SLT schema creation, table mapping, transformation rules, and replication performance tuning.

o Support the technical migration and cloud integration of the corporate "Run My Jobs" (Redwood) central scheduling solution.

• SAP Cloud ALM (cALM) Implementation and Operations:

o Setup, configure,



and administer SAP Cloud ALM (cALM) environments for system monitoring (hosted in Private Cloud, BTP and BDS) and related change management operations.

o Configure cALM Business Process Exception, and Real User Monitoring for the S/4HANA landscape.

o Establish cALM Change and Release Management workflows to track, manage, and audit deployment packages.

o

• Tier 3 Advanced Technical Support (for S4HANA project and its peripheral systems):

o Provide expert Tier 3 support for complex application Basis, HANA database, and infrastructure integration incidents.

o Perform deep-dive root cause analysis (RCA) for application performance bottlenecks and short dumps throughout all migration phases.

• Security and Azure Single Sign-On (SSO) Implementation:

o Design and implement enterprise Single Sign-On (SSO) by integrating S/4HANA, Fiori, and BTP with Microsoft Azure AD/Entra ID.

o Configure SAML 2.0, OpenID Connect (OIDC), and X.509 certificates to support secure front-end authentication.

o Enforce SAP NetWeaver security standards, including Secure Network Communications (SNC) and SSL/TLS encryption.

Qualifications and experience:

• Minimum 12 years of specific experience in SAP Basis and SAP Systems engineering technical work (SAP ECC, S/4HANA, HANA, SLT, PI, TM/EM, CRM, IBP, Fiori, Portal).

• Hands-on experience executing migration preparation, data replication, and post-go-live configuration on at least one full lifecycle SAP ECC to S/4HANA migration project.

• Experience working within a SAP RISE Private Cloud environment, demonstrating a clear understanding of the division of responsibilities between customer Basis teams and the SAP RISE delivery team.

• Minimum 5+ years of specialized experience in SAP HANA administration, including High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR).

• Technical expertience in setting up hybrid landscapes using SAP Cloud Connector, SAP BTP, and SAP Cloud ALM.

• Proven experience in system sizing, performance optimization, and connecting application layers with hardware components.

• Working knowledge of VMWare and Linux operating systems (SUSE or RHEL).

• Strong security background, including a minimum of 3 years architecting Application/HANA DB security and configuring Azure AD/Entra ID SSO.
