What you do as a Junior Electrical BIM Engineer (MCF/ Data Centres)

As a Junior Electrical BIM Engineer, you will play a key role in supporting the design and delivery of our Mission Critical Facilities projects, working closely with multidisciplinary project teams and under the guidance of the Lead Engineer and BIM Coordinator. Your responsibilities will include translating electrical engineering designs into accurate, data rich BIM models,



ensuring the seamless integration and coordination of electrical services within the overall building design.

You will help ensure that designs are coordinated, functional and constructible, minimizing the need for rework and supporting efficient project delivery. This role combines technical knowledge of electrical building services engineering with BIM modelling, automation and digital design skills, contributing to coordinated, practical and technically robust solutions that meet project objectives, client requirements and industry standards. Other responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Develop block diagrams and single line diagrams, ensuring initial space reservations for electrical systems;
- Integrate functionality, installation considerations, maintenance requirements and accessibility into BIM models to support buildable designs without unnecessary revisions;
- Support electrical model coordination, clash detection and multidisciplinary design
