A specialist technology manufacturer based in Madrid is looking for an energetic, commercially driven Sales Manager to accelerate its international growth across Europe, Asia and Latin America.

The company develops specialist detection and monitoring technology for applications including parking facilities, tunnels and industrial environments. Its solutions also complement the wider fire detection and industrial technology markets, creating opportunities to work with distributors, OEMs and other commercial partners internationally.

This is not a role for someone who wants to inherit a mature territory and simply maintain existing accounts.

We're looking for someone who enjoys opening doors, finding new customers, developing distributors, entering new markets and turning opportunities into long-term commercial relationships.





You'll have the opportunity to influence the company's international sales strategy while building on an established international customer and distributor base.

What you'll be doing
- Develop new international business across Europe, Asia and Latin America
- Proactively identify and approach new customers, distributors and commercial partners
- Generate your own opportunities through prospecting, cold calling and outbound business development
- Open new geographic markets and establish distributor relationships
- Grow existing international distributor accounts
- Develop OEM opportunities, particularly across Spain and Portugal
- Build relationships with industrial, controls and technology businesses
- Lead commercial discussions and negotiations from first contact through to agreement
- Attend international trade shows, customer meetings and distributor visits
- Identify opportunities across detection, fire safety
