Role Summary:

We are looking for a
Senior SAP Indirect Tax Consultant
with strong SAP FICO expertise and proven experience in indirect taxation, statutory requirements, and cross-module integration within SAP S/4HANA environments.

In this role, you will be responsible for translating complex tax and business requirements into effective SAP solutions, with a particular focus on
VAT/GST, tax determination, FI/SD/MM integration, SAP DRC, and external tax engines such as ONESOURCE or Sovos
.

You will work closely with business stakeholders, IT teams, and other SAP functional experts to ensure accurate tax determination, regulatory compliance, and reliable end-to-end tax processes across high-volume transaction environments.

Role Requirements:
- 8+ years of SAP FICO implementation experience




- At least
2 full lifecycle SAP implementations
- Strong hands-on experience with
SAP FI
, including integration with
SD and MM
- Proven expertise in
SAP Indirect Tax
, particularly
VAT/GST
- Strong knowledge of
tax determination and condition technique
in SAP S/4HANA
- Solid understanding of
tax and statutory requirements in Germany and other EU countries
- Experience with
SAP S/4HANA
- Knowledge of
SAP DRC (Document and Reporting Compliance)
is highly desirable
- Experience with external tax engines such as
ONESOURCE or Sovos
is an advantage
- Understanding of
digital reporting, e-invoicing, and SAF-T
requirements
- ABAP debugging skills
for troubleshooting tax calculation and interface issues are preferred
- Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to translate complex tax regulations and business requirements into clear functional specificatio
