DOCUMENT CONTROLLER – International Architecture Projects

Bofill Taller de Arquitectura is looking for an experienced
Document Controller
to join our international project teams at La Fàbrica, Sant Just Desvern (Barcelona).

The position will support the delivery of large-scale architectural projects involving multidisciplinary teams, international clients, engineering consultants, contractors and specialist consultants.

We are seeking a highly organized and technically oriented professional capable of managing complex project information, documentation workflows and formal communications within collaborative digital environments.

The Document Controller will play a key role in ensuring that all project information is correctly structured, reviewed, distributed, tracked, recorded and archived throughout the different stages of the project.

KEY RESPONSABILITIES

• Manage and control architectural, engineering and consultant documentation across large-scale international projects.

• Administer project documentation through
ACONEX, Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC),



BIM 360 or other Common Data Environment (CDE) platforms.

• Manage drawings, models, specifications, reports, schedules, technical submissions and other project deliverables.

• Maintain document registers, drawing registers, transmittal logs and submission trackers.

• Control document numbering, naming conventions, metadata, revisions, status codes and approval workflows.

• Ensure that project teams are always working with the latest approved versions of drawings and documents.

• Manage formal document submissions and transmittals between Bofill Taller de Arquitectura, clients, consultants, contractors and other project stakeholders.

• Track documentation through review, comment, approval and resubmission cycles.

• Monitor deadlines and outstanding documentation and proactively follow up with internal and external teams.

• Coordinate document workflows between architecture, BIM, interior design
