International hotel chain selects a vacancy of JD Employee Entertainment - Fitnessin Gran Canaria with possibility of change of residence to our hotel destinations nationally and internationally. Main area of responsibility: The jobholder is responsible for the professional and proper organisation and conduct of a professional and high-quality fitness and sports programme to the TUI BLUE standards.
Departmental tasks
- Implementing the TUI BLUE philosophy and the prescribed concept
- Preparation, organisation and implementation of a varied, high-quality sports and group fitness programme and actions (e.g. aerobics, cycling, walking, etc.) according to prescribed standards.
- Understanding of the host function: active participation in the implementation of guest-centred care through advice and guidance to guests interested in fitness and sports programmes and eliciting positive response from guests
- Forwarding guest comments and complaints.
- Implementation of individual entertainment programme activities (e.g.



beach volleyball) depending on the work load
- Compliance with and implementation of the work schedule and roster
- Duty of care with respect to compliance with safety regulations
- Reporting safety deficiencies and accidents to the superior
- Responsibility for the safety of guests participating in the actions and programmes
- Responsibility for the careful and proper handling of the premises of the sports and fitness area and careful use of or preparation, return and good maintenance of equipment and installations
- Timely reporting of orders for consumables
- Supporting the implementation of start and end of season inventories in the department
- Supporting other departments with horizontal actions depending on the work load
- Active participation in regular departmental team meetings
- Conduct in accordance with a quality host function
