What you will do:

- Design, develop, and support bespoke software solutions.
- Capture requirements effectively and document software processes.
- Utilize software engineering tools such as configuration management systems, build processes, and debuggers.
- Create and execute designs for new functionalities within software projects.
- Solve complex problems using sound problem-solving techniques.
- Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to achieve shared goals.
- Prioritize tasks with customers and deliver solutions in line with expectations.
- Participate in peer code reviews, providing constructive feedback and suggestions.
- Estimate effort,



evaluate technology options, and suggest process improvements.
- Ideally have 5+ years commercial development experience to act as a technical leader or Lead Software Engineer when required.

What you bring & who you are:

- Engineering or computer science degree (or similar).
- Proficiency in .Net development (predominantly C#)
- Familiarity with source control systems (e.g., Git) and software delivery automation.
- Experience in the energy trading domain (ETRM applications like OpenLink Endur is a strong plus).
- Strong prioritization and organizational skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Analytical mindset with attention to detail and a problem-solving attitude.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Fluent in English and Spanish.
