For a large-scale industrial investment project in the Antwerp region, we are looking for an experienced E&I; Supervisor to oversee the execution of electrical and instrumentation activities during the construction phase.
You will be part of a multidisciplinary project team delivering a complex greenfield industrial facility where safety, quality, and technical excellence are key priorities. This role offers the opportunity to work on one of Europe's most ambitious industrial construction projects.
Your Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily Electrical & Instrumentation construction activities on site.
- Ensure contractors and subcontractors execute work according to project specifications, procedures, and safety standards.
- Monitor installation works including cable routing, termination, field instrumentation, junction boxes, control panels, and electrical equipment.
- Review drawings, hook-up diagrams, loop drawings, cable schedules, and construction work packages.
- Verify compliance with quality requirements, specifications, and applicable regulations.
- Identify technical issues, deviations, and construction challenges, and drive corrective actions.
- Coordinate closely with Engineering, Construction Management, QA/QC, and Commissioning teams.
- Monitor progress,
productivity, and contractor performance.
- Ensure all activities are executed in line with site HSSE requirements and permit-to-work procedures.
Your Profile
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electromechanics, Automation, or equivalent through experience.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a supervisory E&I; role within industrial construction projects.
- Strong background in petrochemical, chemical, energy, pharmaceutical, or heavy industrial environments.
- Solid understanding of electrical systems, instrumentation, process control, and industrial installations.
- Familiarity with electrical standards, safety regulations, and industrial best practices.
- Experience managing contractors and working in a multicultural project environment.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Fluent in English. Knowledge of Dutch is considered an asset.
- Hands-on, proactive, and solution-oriented mindset.
Mandatory Requirement
Candidates must hold a valid European work permit or have unrestricted authorization to work in Belgium. Unfortunately, visa sponsorship or work permit support cannot be provided for this position.
