, we are currently looking for an experienced
Esker OCR Lead
to join a global pharmaceutical company on a strategic digital transformation programme.
This role will be responsible for leading the design, implementation, governance, and continuous improvement of Esker OCR solutions across a regulated pharma environment. The position requires strong expertise in Esker, SAP integrations, compliance, and global deployment management.
Responsibilities
- Lead the general rollout of Esker OCR solutions across multiple countries and business units.
- Drive the design and governance of OCR templates, workflows, exception handling processes, and platform standards.
- Manage the project lifecycle, including planning, approvals, releases, environments, deployments, and cutovers.
- Lead Computer System Validation (CSV) activities, including URS, FRS, IQ, OQ, and PQ documentation.
- Ensure compliance with GxP, SOX, data integrity, and audit trail requirements.
- Maintain audit readiness and support internal and external audits.
- Oversee integrations between Esker and SAP S/4HANA,
SAP BTP, SD, MM, and related systems.
- Coordinate system integrations using REST APIs and other middleware technologies.
- Lead and coordinate cross-functional teams in an international environment.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience with Esker OCR and/or Esker Order Management (EOD). Experience with similar Intelligent Document Processing (IDP) or Order-to-Cash automation platforms such as ABBYY, Kofax, ReadSoft, OpenText VIM, Basware, or SAP Intelligent Document Processing will also be considered.
- Proven experience delivering Esker implementations in large and complex environments.
- Strong experience within the
pharmaceutical industry
or other highly regulated sectors.
- Solid understanding of
CSV (Computer System Validation), GxP, SOX, compliance, and audit requirements
