Location: Nationwide – site-based role in Tebay, Cumbria, with some remote working available
Hours: Permanent, Full time, 45 hours per week – adaptable hours can be discussed
Salary: £40,000 – £45,000 per year + £5,000 annual car allowance + benefits

What will you be responsible for?
As a Quantity Surveyor, you'll play a key role in managing costs, maximising value and supporting the successful delivery of the project. Working closely with commercial and operational teams, you'll help ensure strong financial performance throughout the project lifecycle.
Day to day responsibilities include:
- Supporting the commercial management of contracts and work packages to achieve project objectives and target margins




- Preparing and submitting valuations, applications, claims and commercial reports in line with contractual requirements
- Monitoring costs, forecasting financial performance and providing accurate commercial insight to the project team
- Identifying commercial risks and opportunities, helping to resolve issues and protect project outcomes
- Managing measurements, valuations and cash flow to maintain effective commercial control throughout delivery

What are we looking for?
This role of Quantity Surveyor could be a great fit if you:
- Hold a construction-related degree or equivalent qualification
- Have a full driving licence and are happy working in a site-based environment
- Bring experience from a commercial role within construction, infrastructure or transportation projects
- Are confident using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, to analyse and manage commercial information
