This is a fully remote senior individual contributor role for a technically strong product leader who thrives at the intersection of product, engineering, and customer experience. You will own an API-focused product area end to end, from strategy and architecture to adoption and long-term impact. Working closely with engineering leads and staff engineers, you will contribute directly to technical direction and use hands-on prototyping to solve complex problems. The role offers substantial autonomy and the opportunity to influence products that support global employment and payroll operations. Accountabilities




Own the product area end to end, including product strategy, roadmap, delivery, adoption, hypercare, and ongoing customer and internal-team experience.
Partner as a peer with Engineering Leads and Staff Engineers on architecture, technical direction, design quality, and implementation decisions.
Form independent technical opinions and actively contribute to design reviews, using prototypes and hands-on experimentation to validate assumptions and resolve open questions.
Design and maintain high-quality API products, including contracts, versioning, backward compatibility, integration patterns, and developer experience.
Work directly with operational specialists and subject-matter experts to understand real workflows, identify root causes, and prioritize the problems that create the greatest impact.
