We are growing our Global Corporate Information Security team and we are seeking a Product Owner for Network Security (Access Control & Network Visibility) who will be accountable for the technical ownership, operational correctness, and lifecycle management of the Access Control & Network Visibility service within the global Network Security portfolio. This service encompasses Network Access Control (NAC), Remote Access technologies, and Network Detection & Response (NDR), forming a foundational pillar of the organization’s Zero Trust and network visibility strategy.
The Product Owner ensures that access enforcement, telemetry, and detection capabilities are designed, implemented, and operated in a secure, resilient, and auditable manner. You will be end-to-end responsible for service quality, technical decision-making, and risk control within scope, while collaborating closely with Product Management, Architecture, SOC, IAM, PKI, and IT/OT stakeholders.
The working location for this position will be in Madrid city where we are currently setting up a new office. We operate a hybrid model, requiring at least 40% of the working time on-site.
Product & Service Ownership

- Own the technical correctness, stability, and security posture of the Access Control & Network Visibility service.
- Act as L3 escalation and decision authority for complex incidents, platform issues, and high-impact changes.
- Ensure access enforcement and visibility controls align with Zero Trust principles and security policy
- Maintain clear service boundaries, interfaces, and dependencies with IAM, PKI, SOC, IT, OT, and Product teams.
Platform Lifecycle & Engineering Ownership

- Own the lifecycle management of NAC, Remote Access, and NDR platforms, including onboarding, configuration standards, upgrades, and decommissioning.
- Ensure platforms are implemented according to approved architectures, standards, and patterns.
- Drive continuous improvement of detection quality, access policy effectiveness, and platform resilience.
- Validate and approve technical changes impacting access enforcement or network visibility.
Incident, Change & Problem Management

- Lead and support investigation of complex access or visibility-related incidents with organization-wide impact.
- Ensure root cause analysis (RCA) is performed for significant incidents and recurring issues.
- Participate actively in change management processes, ensuring changes are risk-assessed, tested, and traceable.
- Balance security enforcement with availability and user experience considerations.
- Collaborate closely with: o Identity and Access Management (IAM) teams.
- PKI and certificate services.
- Security Operations Centre (SOC) and Incident Response.
- Network Security Architect and Product Manager. o IT, OT, and Product teams consuming the service.
- Ensure telemetry generated by NAC and NDR platforms is reliable, meaningful, and consumable by SOC.
- Support secure access patterns for IT, OT, and product-connected environments.
Sourcing & Operational Oversight

- Retain internal ownership and approval authority, regardless of sourcing model.
- Oversee and guide external providers or MSS delivering L1/L2 operational activities where applicable.
- Ensure runbooks, escalation paths, and quality metrics are defined and enforced.
- Validate operational performance and elevate deficiencies through Product Management.
Authority & Decision Rights. The Product Owner is accountable for:

- Technical decisions within the Access Control & Network Visibility service scope.
- Service availability, stability, and security posture.
- Approval of service-level changes and enforcement decisions.
- Quality and effectiveness of access control and network visibility outcomes.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Strong experience in Network Access Control, Remote Access technologies, or Network Detection & Response platforms.
- Proven track record owning and operating complex security platforms in enterprise environments.
- Solid understanding of Zero Trust principles, identity-centric access control, and network visibility.
- Experience operating services with high blast radius and organizational impact.
- Ability to troubleshoot complex access, authentication, and network flow issues.
- Experience integrating NAC or NDR platforms with IAM, PKI, endpoint posture, or SOC tooling.
- Exposure to ITIL-aligned service operations and change management processes.
- High degree of autonomy, ownership, and accountability.
- Resilient and effective during major incidents.
- Ability to work across teams and communicate security topics clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
