Experteer Overview
In this role you will design and build production-grade AI-powered services that drive intelligent automation and agentic workflows at scale. You’ll collaborate with product and platform teams to translate AI concepts into reliable, secure solutions used across the enterprise. You will develop an orchestration framework, advanced retrieval capabilities, and observability for AI systems. This is a hands-on position at the core of Workato’s AI platform with a strong impact on scalability and reliability.

• Design, build, and maintain AI-powered services and APIs leveraging LLMs and custom ML models
• Develop an enterprise-grade agentic framework enabling orchestration and collaboration among AI agents
• Implement and optimize knowledge retrieval systems using vector databases (Qdrant, ElasticSearch)
• Write clean, production-grade Python code and maintain shared libraries/SDKs
• Collaborate on architecture, protocols, and API standards for platform reliability
• Enhance monitoring, validation, and observability for AI solutions
• Drive full SDLC from design to deployment and continuous improvement
• Identify and resolve performance, reliability,



and scaling bottlenecks in data-intensive environments
• Participate in code reviews and mentor other engineers
• Lead example projects such as AI model observability, agentic orchestration, and semantic retrieval initiatives

Responsabilidades
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience
• 5+ years of software engineering experience with strong Python proficiency
• Proven track record building production-grade systems using Python
• Strong understanding of distributed systems, API design, and data-driven architectures
• Experience with PostgreSQL, ElasticSearch, and vector databases (Qdrant or similar)
• Familiarity with AI/ML system design, LLM integration, and evaluation pipelines
• Knowledge of DevOps and observability practices (CI/CD, monitoring, metrics, validation)
