As a Software Engineer on Kraken’s Consumer team, you design and inplore robust Rust services powering trading, payments, and crypto experiences. You will build scalable, low-latency systems with a security-first mindset, working alongside a large Rust-focused engineering community. You translate evolving product needs into reliable, high-performance components used by millions of users. Responsabilidades
• 3+ years of software engineering experience
• Proficient in writing network services or asynchronous code in Rust
• Security-first mindset in system design
• Ability to autonomously debug issues across OS, network, and application layers
• Solid understanding of distributed systems and technologies, including RPC protocols, Kafka, and event-driven architectures
• Ability to collaborate with product teams to gather requirements and constraints
• Take complete end-to-end ownership of systems and libraries
• Provide mentorship and contribute to defining technical culture
