Role Summary
We are looking for a Backend Cloud-Native Engineer to design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs within an AWS cloud environment.
The role requires strong expertise in Java/Spring, cloud-native architectures, microservices, Docker, and Kubernetes, with exposure to modern technologies such as Go, Event-Driven Architecture, and Infrastructure as Code.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain backend services and REST APIs using Java (Spring Boot).
Develop and support microservices in AWS cloud environments.
Contribute to the adoption and evolution of Go as part of the technology stack.
Define and maintain API specifications using OpenAPI.
Build and operate solutions using AWS services such as Lambda and DynamoDB.
Design and implement cloud-native and distributed architectures.
Manage containerized applications using Docker and deploy them on Kubernetes.
Apply engineering best practices including:
Automated Testing
Test-Driven Development (TDD)
Software Quality Standards
Develop basic automation scripts using Bash.
Collaborate with development, platform, and infrastructure teams.
Drive platform improvements through new technologies and architectural patterns.
Support event-driven and messaging-based solutions.
Improve application performance, scalability, and reliability. xiphteb
