Accounting & Financial Reporting
- Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes in accordance with IFRS and local regulatory requirements.
- Ensure the accuracy and completeness of the general ledger and all accounting sub-processes (AP, AR, fixed assets, treasury accounting, provisions, reconciliations).
- Supervise the preparation of financial statements and regulatory reports, ensuring timeliness and high-quality standards.

Compliance, Controls & Audit
- Ensure strong internal controls consistent with audit standards and banking regulations.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external auditors, coordinating deliverables and implementing recommendations.
- Maintain up-to-date understanding of regulatory requirements affecting financial and accounting processes.

Systems Integration & Transformation Initiatives
- Lead and contribute to system integration projects,



including data migration, process harmonization, system upgrades, ERP implementations, and connections with core banking platforms.
- Partner closely with IT and business teams to map accounting flows, validate data integrity, and ensure seamless interaction between financial systems.
- Drive automation, digitalization, and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance process efficiency and reporting quality.

Leadership & Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Manage, mentor, and develop the accounting team, fostering a culture of accuracy, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders across Finance, Risk, Treasury, Operations, and Technology.
- Support strategic decision-making by providing insights, analysis, and financial expertise.
