The IT Manager – Data & Analytics is responsible for ensuring ongoing, high-quality support to the business, delivering reliable, timely, and accurate data, by leveraging all the different operational reporting solutions that enable critical decision-making.
In addition to operational excellence, the role leads the strategy, governance, and delivery of enterprise data and analytics solutions, with a strong focus on SAP finance ecosystems. Acting as a key bridge between Business, IT, and external partners, this role ensures scalable, standardized, and performant data platforms that balance day-to-day business needs with long-term transformation objectives.
Key Responsibilities
BAU – Operations & Day-to-Day Support
Provide ongoing support to business users (AC, PMC, ANZ, SP, Finance) on data and reporting solutions (SAP BW, SAP S4, Datasphere/SAC, Power BI…)
Ensure data availability and reliability for critical cycles (close, reporting, planning).
Meet data delivery SLAs, ensuring completeness, accuracy, and timeliness of data flows.
Monitor and continuously improve platform performance (load times, queries, integrations).
Identify and resolve operational incidents in collaboration with technical and functional teams.
Manage and prioritize escalations to minimize business impact.
Drive continuous improvement of processes, data quality, and user experience.
Finance / Central Finance (CFIN)
Provide strategic guidance on maintaining a general view of financial data and how it is represented across reporting solutions.
Enable support teams through clear documentation, training, and functional overviews of CFIN capabilities.
Partner with Finance Innovation teams to evaluate and implement enhancements, defining scalable solution approaches.
Establish and enforce best practices within the reporting landscape
Build the foundation for future finance data products leveraging Datasphere and SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) or Power BI
