Due to continued success, they are looking to expand their team with a Senior Power Electronics Engineer – MVDCThe RoleAs Senior Power Electronics Engineer, you'll lead the design and development of MVDC power conversion systems from concept through to qualification. You'll own converter design end-to-end, topology selection, simulation, hardware design, and validation, while mentoring junior engineers and working closely with systems, controls, and mechanical teams.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and develop MVDC converters (e.g. DC/DC, AC/DC) at medium voltage levels (3kV–35kV class)Topology evaluation and selection, modular multilevel, DAB, ISOP/IPOS series-stacked architectures, resonant topologiesPower stage design: semiconductor selection (SiC MOSFETs, IGBTs, series-connected devices), gate drive design, magnetics specificationSimulation and modelling (PLECS, LTspice,
