As Senior Electrical Engineer in AECOM Spain's Building Services Engineering team, you lead and develop design work for diverse projects, from small works to large-scale installations. You mentor mid-level and junior staff, producing calculations, drawings, and specifications for electrical designs. You collaborate across disciplines, manage design schedules, and engage with clients to shape technical solutions and proposals.

This role offers impact across sectors like healthcare, aviation, and data centers, contributing to a sustainable, resilient built environment.

Compensaciones / Incentivos

- Deliver electrical power and lighting designs for projects of varying scale
- Make major design recommendations with minimal input from senior staff
- Plan design work, estimate costs and timelines, and assign duties to junior staff
- Coordinate with architectural, structural, mechanical, technology teams, and equipment suppliers
- Maintain accurate project documentation and design data for permanent files
- Advise and review work produced by junior team members
- Attend project meetings or delegate activities as needed




- Engage with clients, prepare proposals and presentations, and maintain client relations
- Support quality control through project checks on other projects

Responsabilidades

- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
- 8–10 years of experience in a similar role or demonstrated equivalency
- Fluent in English and Spanish (written and spoken)
- Team management/coordination experience
- Knowledge of international regulations and standards (NFPA, BS, IEC)
- Proficiency with electrical engineering calculation software (CANECO, ETAP)
- Experience in design and calculation xugodme of MV/LV installations for various building types
- Experience with construction works and systems such as CCTV, fire detection, security, and access control
- Strong expertise in electrical design for data centers including MV/LV distribution and redundancy; familiar with relevant standards; Uptime Institute training/certification is a strong asset
