Mission As a Forward Deployed AI Engineer, you will work at the intersection of our customers, Delivery team, and Core Platform engineering team.

Your mission is to ensure the technical success of our customer deployments: understanding technical requirements, building production integrations, configuring and improving AI agents, and translating recurring customer needs into platform improvements. You will write production Python code, work directly with customer technical teams, and contribute to the platform that powers all our AI voice agents. This is a hands-on engineering role for someone who combines strong technical ability with clear communication, structured thinking, and genuine interest in working with people.

Implement the technical components of customer deployments, from initial technical definition through production launch and stabilization.

Production Engineering: Write clean, maintainable Python code for customer implementations and reusable platform capabilities. Build and maintain integrations using APIs, webhooks, databases, and external business systems. Identify recurring requirements across customer deployments and work with the Core Platform team to turn them into scalable product capabilities.

Deployment Reliability: Test, monitor, troubleshoot, and improve customer deployments to ensure they are stable and reliable in production. Cross-functional Collaboration: Act as the technical link between Delivery, Platform Engineering, and customer technical teams, ensuring information and technical decisions flow clearly between them. Document integrations, implementation decisions,



and reusable technical patterns to improve future deployments.

You will thrive in this role if you are comfortable moving between writing production code, investigating technical problems, discussing requirements with customers, and collaborating with internal teams.

Strong

Python and backend engineering skills.

Experience building, deploying, and operating production software.

Experience working with APIs, webhooks, integrations, databases, and cloud infrastructure. Comfort working across multiple projects and collaborating with engineering, delivery, and customer teams. Professional proficiency in both English and Spanish.

Practical experience using AI coding tools such as Codex, Cursor, or Claude Code. Previous experience as a Forward Deployed Engineer, Solutions Engineer, Implementation Engineer, technology consultant, or in another customer-facing engineering role.

Experience with voice AI, conversational agents, real-time audio, or telephony systems. AWS and CI/CD experience. Working knowledge of JavaScript and a modern frontend framework.
