At Qaracter , we are looking for a Risk Data Analyst to join a strategic transformation project within a leading international financial institution. You'll become part of the IT XVA Certification team, supporting one of the bank's most critical initiatives: the migration to a new XVA calculation platform (Sigma) . This is an excellent opportunity to work on a high-visibility project combining data analytics , counterparty risk , and Capital Markets , collaborating with international teams in a highly technical environment. What You'll Do Support the certification and validation of a strategic XVA platform migration Analyze portfolio exposure metrics, including EAD, PFE, and EPE Detect data inconsistencies, anomalies, and reconciliation issues across multiple systems Perform data quality assessments and lineage analysis Develop analytical solutions using Python and SQL Produce management reports, dashboards, and risk analytics Work closely with Risk, Front Office,



and Technology teams to ensure data consistency throughout the migration Investigate discrepancies in exposure calculations and support issue resolution What We're Looking For 3+ years of experience in Risk Analytics, Data Analytics, or Quantitative Finance Strong programming skills in Python (Pandas, Num Py, Sci Py) Solid experience with SQL (Hive, Spark, or other Big Data environments) Good understanding of Counterparty Credit Risk (CCR) concepts Knowledge of exposure metrics such as: PFE (Potential Future Exposure) EPE (Expected Positive Exposure) EAD (Exposure at Default) Understanding of SA-CCR, IMM, CVA , and related regulatory frameworks is highly valued Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail English level B2 or higher preferred Nice to Have Experience with XVA platforms or Sigma Background in derivatives or Capital Markets Knowledge of CRR and BCBS 239 Professional certifications such as FRM, CQF, or PRM Experie
