As a Junior People Business Partner in Valencia, you will support Spain-based leaders with day-to-day people matters and contribute to a high-performing culture. You’ll collaborate on employee relations, performance management, and change projects to shape a lean Iberian HR presence. The role offers a stepping stone into strategic partnering within a fast-paced, international business. You’ll gain exposure to broader regional HR activities across Portugal over time, helping to drive business success.
Compensaciones / Incentivos
• Support managers and leaders across Spain with day-to-day people matters
• Guide employee relations, performance management, disciplinary and grievance processes
• Assist with organisational change projects, restructures and business transformation initiatives
• Partner with leaders on workforce planning and organisational design
• Promote employee engagement and support action planning after surveys
• Coach managers on people management and leadership approaches
• Support talent reviews, succession planning and career development
• Collaborate with Talent Acquisition on hiring and onboarding
• Help set performance expectations and manage performance improvement plans
• Assist learning and development programmes across the region
• Analyse attrition, absence, engagement and organisational trends
• Produce insights and recommendations for decision-making
• Maintain accurate employee records and HR reporting
• Ensure compliance with Spanish employment legislation and company policies
• Support HR policy implementation and communication
• Collaborate with legal and compliance teams
• Act as Equality Plan Officer and monitor related obligations
• Liaise with employee representative bodies and unions for effective consultation
Responsabilidades
• Minimum 4 years' experience in HR, Employee Relations or HR Business Partnering
• Strong understanding of Spanish employment legislation
• Fluency in Spanish and professional proficiency in English
• Experience advising managers on people matters
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to build trusted relationships across all levels of the organisation
• Analytical mindset with strong Excel and reporting capabilities
• Experience working in a fast-paced, changing environment
• Strong organisational skills with ability to manage multiple priorities
