What are we looking for?
We are looking for a Senior Oracle PL/SQL Lead Engineer with a strong background in the banking industry. This role requires a highly autonomous professional who can take ownership, proactively solve complex challenges, and operate independently in a fast-paced, regulated environment.
You will join a strategic project with a integral client in the wealth management sector, taking on a combined role as IT Service Owner and senior technical contributor, ensuring the end-to-end operation, evolution,



and reliability of the IT service.
Location: Hybrid. Madrid city center (Sol area). 3 days a week in the office.
Language: English is a must. Spanish desirable.
Required Experience
- Senior-level experience with Oracle PL/SQL on Oracle Database 19c, including participation in Oracle upgrade, modernization, or migration projects. The current initiative involves a strategic migration from Oracle Database 17 to Oracle Database 19c, making hands-on experience with Oracle 19c essential. Candidates should demonstrate expertise in compatibility assessments, PL/SQL code optimization, performance tuning, and support throughout database upgrade processes.

Strong experience in:
- Development and maintenance of PL/SQL packages, procedures, functions, and triggers.
- Designing and developing complex SQL and PL/SQL scripts.
- Building, maintaining, and enhancing system integration interfaces.
