Verification & Validation Engineer (Cold Climate Testing) Work Model: Hybrid (2–3 days onsite/week) Contract Type: Permanent ⏰ Working Hours: Full-time At SOTEC Consulting – Astek Group , we are looking for a Verification & Validation Engineer (Cold Climate Testing) to join an international project within the railway sector . The selected candidate will participate in verification and validation activities for railway rolling stock under extreme climatic conditions, contributing to the definition of test strategies, risk analysis, preparation of test plans, and validation of railway systems and trains in low-temperature environments. ️ High level of English required (international project) Preparation of test plans. Identification and analysis of technical risks.
Coordination with engineering and validation teams. Participation in national and international testing campaigns. Technical support during test execution. Monitoring and documentation of results. Degree in Industrial Engineering,
Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Railway Engineering, or equivalent.
Availability for occasional travel to Sweden for testing campaigns. Preparation of test plans. Technical test management. Test plan definition. Participation in projects developed in Nordic countries.
