RIS Business Planner

Job Summary
This role is responsible for driving the development, implementation, and monitoring of strategic business plans and initiatives within the organization. The role provides valuable analysis and advice to management across various domains and manages cross-functional teams to ensure smooth operations and effective business planning. The role formulates highly complex statistical and financial models for forecasting and defines KPIs and metrics to measure business performance.
Responsibilities
• Manage the RIS & Incubation budget, including forecasting, OPEX planning and reporting, accrual management, spend tracking, and financial analysis to support business performance and strategic decision-making.
• Establishes the metrics required to measure business performance, and develops the process for identifying and addressing performance gaps.
• Leads cross-functional teams across the entire span of business planning activities.
• Contributes to priority projects by adding creative insights and developing recommendations.
• Develops go-forward business plan recommendations based on potential risks and returns.
• Identifies cutting-edge analytical tools, models, and methods for making key business decisions.
• Demonstrates a high level of business acumen and technical expertise in areas such as business planning, operational management, and financial analysis.
• Support employee engagement programs and communications by supporting AEMs, town halls, onboarding, recognition initiatives, VIA action planning, organizational culture efforts, and compliance with HP policies and processes.
Education & Experience Recommended
• Four-year or Graduate Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or any other related discipline or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence.
• Typically has 7-10 years of work experience, preferably in strategy, planning, operations, market research, or a related field.
