We are Applus+ Laboratories, the division of the Applus+ Group that provides testing, certification, and product development engineering services.

Within the Materials and Mechanics area, we assess the properties of a wide range of materials, components, and structures for industries such as aerospace, automotive, railway, and wind energy, among others.

Our experts support clients in the development of their products and in ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations.

We are currently expanding and are looking for a Technical Sales Engineer to join our team on a permanent basis.

What will your day-to-day look like?
Manage and develop strategic customer accounts across the Automotive, Aerospace, Railway, Renewable Energy, and Industrial sectors.
Identify, develop, and convert new business opportunities related to testing, validation, and certification services.
Prepare and deliver technical-commercial proposals aligned with OEM requirements and international standards.
Lead the full consultative sales cycle,



from opportunity identification and qualification through contract negotiation and project award.
Collaborate closely with engineering and laboratory teams to define testing scopes and deliver tailored technical solutions.
Manage customer relationships and commercial performance through pipeline management, forecasting, KPI monitoring, and representation of the company at industry events, trade shows, and networking activities.

What are we looking for?
Degree in Engineering, Materials Science, Chemistry, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field
3+ years of experience in technical sales, business development, or application engineering within industrial or laboratory environments
Experience working with OEMs, Tier 1 suppliers, and highly regulated industries
Solid understanding of materials testing, validation processes, certification schemes, or industrial qualification programs
Fluent in English (at least B2) and Spanish
Strong communica
