One of our customers, a growing cosmetics company in the Barcelona area, is looking for a Technical Director to lead and develop its R&D; function.
This is a great opportunity for an experienced cosmetics professional who wants to take a key role in the technical development of a company and work at the intersection of cosmetic science, formulation, innovation and product development.
Your role
You will be responsible for leading the company’s technical and R&D; activities, including:
? Development and optimisation of cosmetic formulations
? Management and coordination of R&D; projects
? Technical documentation and product specifications
? Evaluation of raw materials, ingredients and suppliers
? Collaboration with suppliers, laboratories and external partners
? Driving innovation and new product development
? Coordination of the technical/R&D; team
? Working with digital tools and systems supporting cosmetic R&D;




We’re looking for
Solid experience in cosmetic R&D; and formulation
Strong knowledge of cosmetic ingredients and product development
Experience managing R&D; projects and/or technical teams
Analytical, organised and hands-on approach
Ability to work cross-functionally with production, regulatory, purchasing and commercial teams
Fluent Spanish and English; Catalan is a plus
Based in or willing to work in the Barcelona area
This is a senior position with significant responsibility and impact within the company.
