Our products are present in more than 100 countries, combining electronics, firmware, software, and precision engineering to make laboratory processes safer, more reliable, and more efficient.

We are looking for an experienced firmware engineer to take on a key role within our Engineering team.

Your mission will be to develop, maintain, and improve the embedded firmware of our products. You will work directly with the hardware and collaborate closely with our Electronics, Software, Mechanical, Production, and Quality teams.

Key responsibilities:
• Develop firmware for new products.
• Maintain and enhance existing firmware.
• Analyse and resolve firmware issues during development, production, and after-sales service.
• Debug systems on real hardware using JTAG, oscilloscopes, logic analysers, and other laboratory equipment.
• Define and carry out functional and validation testing.
• Manage firmware repositories, versions, and releases.




• Document code, changes, configurations, and firmware update procedures.
• Support prototype bring-up, industrialisation, and production launch.

What we’re looking for:
• Strong experience in C and C++ for embedded systems.
• Experience with microcontrollers such as ARM Cortex-M, STM32, AVR, or similar.
• Experience with bare-metal development and, ideally, RTOS environments such as FreeRTOS.
• Knowledge of communication protocols including UART, RS-232, RS-485, SPI, I²C, CAN, USB, and Ethernet.
• Experience with interrupts, timers, ADCs, PWM, memory management, and peripherals.
• Knowledge of bootloaders, firmware updates, and version control using Git.
• Ability to read electronic schematics, interpret datasheets, and use laboratory equipment.
• Ability to determine whether an issue originates in the firmware, the hardware, or the interaction between the two.
