Project Coordinator – Interpreting & Intercultural Mediation

We are looking for an experienced Project Coordinator to lead the operational coordination of interpreting and intercultural mediation services within a large-scale international project covering Spain and Portugal.

This is a key role for someone who is comfortable working in complex, multicultural and operationally demanding environments, coordinating people across different locations and responding effectively to changing needs and priorities.

The successful candidate will act as the main operational link between the client, internal teams, interpreters and intercultural mediators, ensuring the smooth delivery of the service and consistently high standards of quality, responsiveness and confidentiality.

Key Responsibilities
Lead and coordinate interpreting and intercultural mediation services across Spain and Portugal, ensuring high-quality linguistic and cultural support in sensitive and demanding operational environments.
Act as the primary point of contact for the client,



managing day-to-day communications in English and ensuring timely, accurate and professional responses to operational and staffing requirements.
Identify, recruit, onboard and coordinate interpreters and intercultural mediators, ensuring that the appropriate profiles, languages and expertise are assigned to each requirement.
Manage the day-to-day operation of the service, including workforce planning, scheduling, availability, absences, replacements and personnel-related administrative processes.
Anticipate staffing needs and maintain sufficient resource coverage across different locations, languages and operational scenarios.
Ensure compliance with internal procedures, contractual requirements and applicable regulations, maintaining high standards of quality, confidentiality, security and operational excellence.
