A growing European space technology company developing next-generation electric propulsion systems for satellites is looking for a
Mechanical Engineer
to join its engineering team in Madrid.
This is a hands-on engineering role focused on the development, assembly and testing of
precision fluidic systems
used within advanced space propulsion hardware.
You'll be working on:
- Precision fluidic and vacuum systems
- High-integrity tubing, valves, fittings and sealed assemblies
- Laboratory testing, validation and troubleshooting
- Handling and characterising sensitive liquids and propellants in controlled environments
- Improving product reliability and supporting the transition from R&D; into production
- Working closely with multidisciplinary mechanical, propulsion and systems engineering teams
We're looking for engineers with experience in:
- Precision fluidic systems (reactive liquids)
- Laboratory instrumentation and test equipment
- Pumps, valves, regulators, pressure control or flow control systems
- Leak testing, pressure testing and sealed system design
- Mechanical assembly of high-precision hardware
Backgrounds we'd love to see:
- Space propulsion
- Scientific instrumentation
- Vacuum technology
- Analytical instruments
- Semiconductor equipment
- Medical devices
- Microfluidics
- Chemical processing equipment
- Cryogenic or ultra-high vacuum systems
Experience with
reactive or sensitive liquids
, cleanroom environments or high-reliability engineering would be a significant advantage.
