SAP EDI Project Manager

Location: Madrid, Spain (Hybrid – Minimum 2 days/week onsite)

Contract: (Duration 12 months)

Travel: Occasional travel across EMEA

Role Overview

Seeking an experienced
SAP EDI Project Manager
to lead end-to-end SAP EDI initiatives across the EMEA region. The role involves managing SAP integration projects, driving governance, coordinating cross-functional teams, and ensuring successful delivery of B2B/B2G integration solutions.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead SAP EDI projects from planning through deployment.
- Manage project scope, timelines, budgets, risks, and governance.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams including Business, SAP, Integration, Architecture, and PMO.
- Deliver B2B/B2G integration initiatives with customers, suppliers, and tax authorities.
- Oversee electronic business processes (e-Invoicing, e-Ordering, e-Dispatch, e-Transport, e-Signature).
- Drive stakeholder communication, workshops, steering committee updates, and project reporting.





Mandatory Skills & Experience
- 10+ years of SAP project management experience.
- Proven experience delivering large-scale SAP implementation/transformation projects.
- Strong expertise in:
- SAP EDI
- SAP SD (Order-to-Cash)
- SAP MM & FI integration
- SAP ABAP integration concepts
- IDocs, Web Services & APIs
- SAP Process Orchestration (PO) and/or SAP CPI
- B2B & B2G integration projects
- Strong stakeholder management, governance, risk management, and leadership skills.
- Experience working with general, cross-functional teams.

Preferred Skills
- SAP S/4HANA
- MuleSoft
- VAN providers (EDICOM, COMARCH, ECOSIO, TRADEX, etc.)
- Manufacturing/Industrial domain experience
- Spanish language

Education

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
