About the Job
At Allianz Technology, we are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to drive the evolution of our Claims & Retail platforms, ensuring they are scalable, secure, and highly reliable.

In this role, you will operate at the crossroads of DevOps, cloud architecture, and platform engineering , setting strategic direction while remaining hands-on with modern tooling and methodologies. You will play a key role in shaping how our platforms are built, operated, and continuously improved across a general environment.

What you do
Define and drive the DevOps strategy, architecture, and tooling for Claims & Retail platforms
Design and evolve scalable, secure, and highly available cloud platforms (AWS / Azure)
Lead incident management and root cause analysis,



ensuring continuous improvement and operational excellence
Implement and enhance monitoring, observability, and performance optimization across applications and platforms
Drive automation and CI/CD adoption, improving efficiency and reducing manual effort
Ensure security, compliance, and platform stability, applying best practices and modern standards
Collaborate with cross-functional teams and lead DevOps and platform engineering teams to deliver strategic IT initiatives

What you bring
~10+ years of experience in IT operations, DevOps, or platform engineering, with a strong strategic and hands-on background
~ Proven experience designing and managing cloud-based platforms (AWS / Azure) and modern DevOps ecosystems
~ Strong expertise in CI/CD, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or similar)
~ Experience with monitoring and observability tools (e.g., Dynatrace) and performance optimization practices
