Mission is to lead customer investigation analysis mainly on product issues and providing Technical Expert Assessment in 8D methodology format.



Scope is mainly on distribution automation ranges (T300/T500/Saitel) with potential extension on protection relays. Mainly on hardware related failure but also interact with R&D; on FW failures. Based in Sevilla Spain (option in UK) and reporting to Europe POST manager (Product Operation Support Team) and interacting with repair activities, with plants (Riga and Bangalore) and other expert center (UK and China)
Role & Responsibilities:
The primary role of a POST Engineer is to investigate customer product field failures and perform root cause analysis to component level. All product investigations will follow the 8D problem solving methodology by providing TEX (technical expertise assessment) report in 8D format.
Where a pattern in failure mode or a potential hardware design weakness is identified, the POST engineer is expected to identify potential root causes and present possible solutions. This will in
