Role description

As a Forward Deployed AI Engineer at Quantrue, you will work directly with clients to design, build, and deploy AI-driven software solutions that address real-world business problems. On a day-to-day basis, you will collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to understand requirements, prototype and implement backend services, integrate AI components, and ensure systems are robust, scalable, and maintainable. You will contribute to end-to-end development, from data processing and model integration to API design, testing, and monitoring in production environments.





You will also participate in architectural discussions and knowledge sharing to support sustainable, high-quality engineering practices.

This is a full-time hybrid role based in Madrid, with a mix of on-site collaboration (either at our client's offices our ours) and flexibility for work-from-home.

Required qualifications

Hard skills:
Technical master's or PhD degree: engineering, computer science, physics, maths, etc.
Expertise in ML/DL/AI methodologies.
User of an agentic developer workbench (GitHub Copilot, Claude Code).
Proficiency in programming, with experience delivering production-ready code. Python is a must.
Experience in DevOps/MLOps practices, advanced Git.
Experience working with AI/ML systems (e.g., integrating models, data pipelines, LangGraph).
Familiarity with cloud platforms (such as AWS, GCP, Azure) and/or containerization/orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
