This position will report to the site PPL DIGITAL HW Manager.

Mission:





* Understanding of technical requirements and definition of technical
solutions.
* Digital Electronics design for on-board units (based on FPGAs and
microprocessors).
* Understanding of technical requirements and definition of technical
solutions.
* Preparation of design documentation
* Schematics capture in Mentor xDesigner
* Analog/digital electronics simulations
* Signal integrity simulations in Hyperlynx, ADS, Ansys or similar
* Review of post layout/placement activities
* Review of PCB routing
* Preparation of board-level tests procedure
* Internal or customer Design Reviews
* Support in validation and acceptance campaigns.
* Education:
* Engineering Master, preferably Electronics with firm background in digital
electronic design.
* Experience in (minimum 6 years) Digital electronics design: communication
buses, memories (DDR2, DDR4, NOR Flash), FPGAs, Microprocessors…
* Knowledge of design tools: LTspice, Simplix/Sime
