We’re looking for an experienced Interim Product Delivery Manager to support our Commercial Payments team during a maternity leave coverage. The primary objective of this role is to ensure smooth delivery execution, effective cross-functional coordination, and transparent communication across stakeholders.
This role sits within the Commercial Payments Group (part of the Product, Engineering & Design department, currently consisting of four cross-functional product teams) as we build and scale our solution across Europe. This is a highly collaborative execution-focused role where you will focus entirely on delivery management, operational momentum, and blocker removal rather than product strategy or roadmap ownership.
Candidates must be based in Germany, France, Benelux, Spain or Austria.
Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitate Agile Ceremonies:
Prepare and lead backlog refinement, sprint planning sessions, and daily standups to align the engineering team with delivery commitments.
- Manage Delivery Execution:
Monitor overall progress, identify delivery risks early,
proactively remove blockers, and ensure development work is fully defined and ready.
- Coordinate Cross-Functional Dependencies:
Align timelines and manage dependencies across Product Managers, Engineering, UX, and external stakeholders.
- Support Quarterly Planning:
Collaborate with the team to facilitate quarterly delivery planning sessions and translate the established roadmap into operational execution.
- Drive Transparent Reporting:
Prepare and present delivery updates, milestone tracking, and risk assessments for cross-team meetings and governance forums.
- Stakeholder Communication:
Support the preparation of presentations and status updates for internal and external partners, including member banks and merchants.
- Maintain Delivery Governance:
Ensure clear visibility into project health, upcoming milestones, and capacity planning across the delivery lifecycle.
