WHAT WOULD YOU NEED? ✍️

Must-have
- 5+ years of experience as a
Database Reliability Engineer
, Database Administrator, or in a similar role.
- Strong experience managing and supporting enterprise database environments.
- Hands-on experience with
OpenShift
, including database deployments and troubleshooting.
- Solid knowledge of database lifecycle management, including patching, upgrades, maintenance, and performance optimization.
- Experience working with one or more of the following technologies:
MongoDB, MariaDB,



PostgreSQL, SQL Server, CouchDB, Redis, and Kafka
.
- Experience with database monitoring, automation, auditing, and troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of infrastructure and virtualization concepts, including VM management and blueprints.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a reliability-focused mindset.
- Experience working in Agile environments and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
- Fluent English (mandatory).
- Availability to work remotely from anywhere in Spain as a freelancer, or in a hybrid model based in Barcelona, Madrid, or Valencia for permanent employees (mandatory).

Nice to have
- Experience with infrastructure automation and scripting.
- Knowledge of Hybrid Cloud environments.
- Experience with monitoring and observability tools.
- Experience supporting highly available and mission-critical database platforms.
