A Day in the Life

This internship will be part of the Information Hospital Systems (IHS) department, a team with more than 10 years of experience in defining, designing, and implementing services and digital solutions aimed at improving the efficiency and operational excellence of hospital services.

This is an excellent opportunity to join the Digital Health – Hospital Information Systems team, whose mission is to design, implement, and continuously develop digital solutions that support and optimize the entire patient care pathway.

As an intern,



you will have the opportunity to learn about Medtronic IHS digital tools and software solutions, gaining insight into how they support hospital efficiency and operational excellence.

You will also develop an understanding of hospital information systems and the interoperability standards that allow these systems to connect effectively with enterprise platforms.

Internship details:

-Start date: preferably 15th August / September 1st

-Location: Madrid, Spain

-Duration: 12 months (extendable + 6 months)

-Working hours: 40h/h

-Work model: hybrid

-Internship agreement

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:

-Support digital health projects related to hospital information systems

-Assist in the implementation, testing, and maintenance of software solutions used in healthcare settings

-Help design dashboards and analyze data to support decision-making

-Collaborate with internal teams, external vendors, and hospital stake
