Role Description
As a GenAI Engineer at PearSon, you will design, build, and deploy generative AI solutions that address client-specific challenges across multiple industries. On a day-to-day basis, you will develop and fine-tune models, integrate AI services into enterprise applications, and collaborate with consultants and stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into robust technical architectures.
You will be responsible for evaluating new AI frameworks, ensuring model performance and reliability, and documenting solutions for both technical and non-technical audiences. This is a full-time, on-site role based in the Greater Cádiz Metropolitan Area, involving close collaboration with local team members and occasional client-facing engagements.
Qualifications
- Strong proficiency in programming and engineering fundamentals, including Python or similar languages, software development best practices, and version control (e.g., Git).
- Experience with machine learning and generative AI concepts such as large language models, model fine-tuning, prompt engineering, and model evaluation techniques.
- Knowledge of AI platforms and cloud services (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and experience integrating APIs and microservices into production systems.
