A fast-growing multinational in the industrial sector with a strong European presence is looking for an
Accounting Manager
to join their finance team in Barcelona. Confidential process.

The role

Reporting to the Head of Accounting, you will lead a team of two accountants and take full ownership of the financial and tax administration for the Belgian and Dutch entities of the group.

Key responsibiliti
es
- Oversee month-end, quarter-end and year-end closings, including review of postings, reconciliations and reporting.
- Act as main point of contact for external auditors and coordinate local and group audit activities.
- Coordinate with external accountants and tax advisors.
- Drive improvements in financial processes, internal controls and workflow standardisation.
- Contribute to financial projects, including integrations following acquisitions.
- Support budgeting and consolidation proces

What we're looking
for




- University degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Economics or similar.
- At least 5 years of experience in Finance, Accounting or Audit in an international environment.
- Experience leading teams.
- Strong knowledge of financial and tax regulations in the Benelux region.
- Experience with consolidation and audit processes.
- Advanced Excel. Power BI is a plus.
- Experience with Exact Online, Lucanet or similar systems is a
plus.
- Fluent in Dutch and English, both written and spoken. Spanish is a
plus.
