Role Description
The Vice President of AI Audit is a full-time remote role responsible for overseeing the evaluation, governance, and risk management of AI systems and data-driven solutions across the organization. This role designs and executes AI audit frameworks, reviews models and algorithms for accuracy, fairness, transparency, and compliance, and prepares clear reports and recommendations for senior leadership and regulators. The Vice President collaborates with technology, data, risk, compliance, and business teams to assess AI use cases, validate methodologies, and propose controls that align with ethical standards and regulatory expectations. Day-to-day tasks include leading audit engagements, defining key performance and risk indicators, monitoring AI-related incidents, and driving continuous improvements in AI lifecycle management. The role also involves mentoring audit staff, contributing to AI governance policies, and staying current on emerging AI regulations, standards, and best practices.

Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Computer Science and Data Science,



with the ability to understand and assess complex AI and data-driven systems.
- Proficiency in Pattern Recognition and Analytics to evaluate model behavior, performance, and risk across diverse datasets and use cases.
- Experience with Natural Language Processing (NLP) to review and audit language-based models, chatbots, and automated decision tools.
- Demonstrated experience in AI governance, risk management, and auditing or assurance in financial services or a similarly regulated industry.
- Ability to translate technical findings into clear, actionable recommendations for non-technical stakeholders and senior leadership.
- Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and structured documentation practices.
- Proven leadership experience in managing audit teams or cross-functional project groups, including remote collaboration.
