POLAR Specialist Coatings – Role Overview

POLAR Specialist Coatings is looking for a hands-on *Social Media & Community Manager* to support the planning, coordination, execution, optimisation and performance of our organic social media presence across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook and other relevant platforms.

Working closely with the Content Operations Manager and Founder, this person will ensure approved content is published consistently, adapted for each platform and continuously improved based on performance insights.

This role will play an important part in helping POLAR build a more strategic, educational and commercially aligned social media presence. The adecuado candidate should be comfortable working with product-led content, DIY/home improvement topics, short-form video, founder-led content, educational storytelling and performance insights.

The role will work closely with the Content Operations Manager, the Founder and the wider POLAR team to ensure social content supports customer education, product understanding,



brand trust and traffic to Amazon.

Main Purpose of the Role

The main purpose of this role is to manage POLAR's day-to-day social media activity while turning product priorities, customer questions, FAQs, seasonal opportunities and founder-led ideas into clear, useful and engaging content.

Social media at POLAR should help customers understand:
- what the product does;
- when and where to use it;
- how to apply it correctly;
- what mistakes to avoid;
- why POLAR is a trusted solution; and
- where to buy the product.

The successful candidate will ensure content is consistently published, tailored to each platform and continually optimised using audience insights and performance data.

Key Responsibilities: Content Planning & Publishing
- Support the creation of monthly and weekly social media content calendars.
- Help POLAR maintain a consistent publishing rhythm of 3–4 posts per week.
