Role Overview

We are looking for a
Senior Platform Compliance Engineer
to join a remote contract supporting a modern cloud platform within a regulated financial environment.

This role focuses on transforming
compliance, governance, and security assurance into scalable engineering capabilities
. You will work closely with platform engineering, security, risk, and audit teams to automate compliance processes, improve security governance, and embed controls directly into platform operations.

Required Skills & Experience
- Strong experience in
Platform Compliance, IT Risk, Security Governance, or IT Audit
.
- Experience with
IT controls, compliance frameworks, governance, and audit processes
within regulated financial environments.
- Strong understanding of
security, risk management, and compliance engineering
.




- Experience working alongside platform engineering and technical teams.
- Ability to translate regulatory and business requirements into technical controls.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Fluent English.

Key Responsibilities
- Translate regulatory, risk, and control requirements into technical platform controls.
- Drive
Test of Design (ToD)
and
Test of Effectiveness (ToE)
activities.
- Define, collect, and automate compliance evidence.
- Build dashboards and reporting for compliance posture and control effectiveness.
- Support internal and external audits and maintain audit readiness.
- Track audit findings, risks, exceptions, and remediation activities.
- Improve security governance and compliance maturity.
- Enhance SIEM use cases, security monitoring, telemetry, and auditability.
- Partner with engineering teams to automate security and compliance controls.
