Job description: Technical Support Specialist

The Technical Support Specialist serves as a technical liaison between the company’s engineering teams and customers. This role involves providing technical support, product demonstrations, and ensuring successful product integration for customers.

Key Responsibilities:

· Technical Support: Provide first-level support for AVer products (installation, usage, troubleshooting) via email, phone, video, and remote access tools.

· RMA Management: Handle RMA/DOA requests, check products for defects, repair and return items, and update customers.

· Inventory: Maintain accurate records of spare parts and place weekly orders with HQ.

· Trade Show Support: Prepare, configure, and check units for trade shows, assisting with setup and teardown.

· Loan Management: Maintain and manage loan equipment, ensuring returns are checked and refurbished as needed.

Expectations:

· Provide reliable technical support to customers.

· Collaborate with internal teams for product improvements.





· Resolve technical issues promptly to maintain customer satisfaction.

· Adapt to evolving technologies within the industry.

Required Skills:

· Strong understanding of hardware/software integration.

· Experience with debugging tools and embedded systems.

· Knowledge of communication protocols (I2C, SPI, UART, CAN, Ethernet).

Soft Skills:

· Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

· Customer-focused with a proactive approach to issue resolution.

· Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.

Your Profile

· Technical education (Electronics, Communications, or IT – no engineering degree required)

· Good command of Spanish & English (written and spoken), other language is a plus.

· Hands-on, customer-oriented, and proactive mindset

· Strong communication and presentation skills
